Awesome fun-loved Filipino Wedding at Newton Hall

Well this feels like DeJaVu. It was only last week I put Michelle and George on the website – this is what happens when you shoot at Newton Hall twice in two weeks ha-ha. Always love it though as Newton Hall is a lush venue and a great backdrop for wedding photography so Im always chuffed to be working at Newton Hall and especially for my first Filipino Wedding.

So… Siannell and Abel, where the heck do we begin. Firstly two awesome people. We met up before the wedding in Durham for some Pre-Wedding photos and they were both so down to earth and easy to photograph. The Pre-Wedding photo-shoot also gives them the chance to see that being in front of camera isn’t scary and how i work too so thats a bonus.

As this was my first Filipino Wedding there were so nice traditions I hadn’t seen before which was lovely. I especially liked the money dance, where friends and family would pin money to the couple while they danced. Pretty Cool. You think you have seen everything in 10 years but it’s always great to see something new.

They also strutted their stuff with groomsmen and bridesmaid walk ons in to the reception followed by some group choreographed dancing, Abel and the boys were giving it large to Bye-Bye-Bye from N*Sync. Let’s just say they got it right on the 3rd try haha. I almost jumped in to show them how it’s done haha. Deadpool style. ha-ha

Honestly just such a great day, they both looked lush, friends and family were great to chat to and have fun with and it was my first ceremony in the new glass house extension on the side of the chapel. It looked lush by the way.
