A short history of North Mymms Park
Boasting a majestic 16th century architecture, North Mymms Park is one of Hertfordshire’s grandest country houses. Much of its facade has been carefully preserved throughout the centuries – from sympathetic restorations to internal alterations — making it appear as if time had stood still.
The Mansion was likely built between 1582 and 1603 by either Sir Henry Coningsby or his son, Sir Ralph who served as sheriff in Hertfordshire in 1596.

The Long Gallery
The captivating verdure prints and elegant chandeliers are definite conversation starters. The Long Gallery can accommodate up to 250 guests for a civil ceremony, 220 for a religious ritual (Mandap/Chuppah), and 140 for an exquisite banquet feast.
The Marble Hall
Step into the Mansion and be entranced by this grand space, featuring a chequered marble flooring, awe-inspiring fireplace, and room for up to 140 guests during civil ceremonies or 100 diners at banquets.
The Pavilion
For a truly classic and modern feel, the Pavilion offers natural daylight flooding through its glass-paneled walls. Its spacious setting is ideal for your big day, whether it be your ceremony or reception.
The Walled Garden adds an elegant touch with drinks receptions and romantic photographic backdrops; all with the capacity to hold up to 400 guests for both religious ceremonies and receptions!
The Loggia
Exchange your vows beneath a mesmerising, intricately carved marble mosaic canopy and archway. This outdoor ceremony space can comfortably accommodate up to 250 guests for civil ceremonies making it the ideal setting for any solemn occasion.
The Jacobean Room
This stunning Jacobean oak-panelled dining room affords spectacular views of the picturesque Rose Garden. Accommodating up to one hundred guests for a civil ceremony and sixty individuals for an exquisite banquet setting, this venue is ideal for any special occasion.
The High Gallery
Step inside the lavish North Mymms Park and be captivated by its Elizabethan charm! Your guests will marvel at the original Minstrels Gallery, grand staircase, as well as floor-to-ceiling stained glass windows.

You will find me right in the action, at close quarters, you won’t see me skirting the wall with a long lens. I believe in documenting your story from within. I can usually be found laughing with your guests, often I’m the one making people laugh.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT PHOTOGRAPHER
Right, let’s start by saying you’re not just buying ‘nice photos’ – we live in a world with so many nice instagram feeds, but it’s not just aesthetics. I’ve seen loads of photographers who have a large majority of their instagram feeds/website from content days, workshops etc. (no pressure, no time constraints, models, perfect setups)
A nice instagram grid or website doesn’t tell you if they can handle chaos, keep you from shitting your pants before you go down the aisle, read the room, move portraits later in the timeline as you booked a live singer for the reception and you actually want to listen to them. That stuff doesn’t live on pretty feeds – It lives in experience. (350+ weddings over 10 years, I got you covered)
The real risk isn’t just bad photos, it’s a bad fit. Feeling awkward, being dragged around, missing the good bits because someone was too busy staging ‘the perfect shot’. So here’s the meat and bones of it: don’t ask yourself ‘do we like their photos?’ – instead ask yourself ‘do we trust this person to show up on the day and smash it out the park’ (read my reviews).
Once you realise that, you stop scrolling for the prettiest grid and start looking for the person, the vibe, the energy you want to spend your entire day with, someone who will sing along to the fresh prince of bel air during bride prep, someone who will knock out some body popping on the dance floor before capturing the bridesmaid whacking out the perfect worm – and if that ends up being me – happy bloody days!!

You’ll usually find me right in the action, laughing with guests and capturing moments from up close. I believe the best photos come from being fully immersed in the day, not hiding at the back with a long lens. When your friends and family feel comfortable with me, that’s when I can document the most genuine moments.
