Ray was absolutely incredible and I would 100% recommend him for photographing weddings! Ray sent us all the information we needed and communicated really well prior to the wedding. On the day, he brought all the laughs and positive vibes, effortlessly putting all our guests at ease. Ray has a real talent for taking candid shots; he captured all the amazing reactions and moments during different parts of the day which was lovely to look back on. The photos are absolutely incredible and we couldn’t be happier with our gallery. Ray also created highlight videos for us which were amazing! As well as taking photos, he video recorded so many great moments on our special day and it meant we didn’t need to book a videographer/content creator too. He really is amazing and we would definitely recommend.

Ray will hands down be the choice you want to make for your wedding photographer / video production. We absolutely love all of the photos and the platform used to view / access them, but more so the videos and films produced are second to none. Also the main thing that was so helpful through the whole process of a wedding (which can be stressful enough as it is) was the guidance / advice given from Ray’s experience from the initial meeting to the day itself. On the day, Ray wasn’t too ‘bossy’, he told us where we needed to be and when, whilst not getting in the way of anything else and kept it all light hearted so we enjoyed our day to the fullest without photos feeling like such a mission. The candid photos and videos are brilliant and we couldn’t recommend him enough. It was an incredibly professional, high quality and personal service which was everything we needed.

Ray was absolutely fantastic!! We used Ray for our engagement and wedding photos. He is so kind, thoughtful, and funny, and he truly makes you feel at ease in front of the camera. Our photos were truly a great representation of our day and he captured such sweet moments with our friends and family. Not only did we enjoy his photos and his interactions with us, but when we mentioned who we were using to our other vendors, they always spoke highly of his work and professionalism. If we had it all over to do again, we would pick Ray a million times over.

The BEST photographer and person ever.

From the first discovery call Ray made us feel so at ease and we just knew he would be the right man for our wedding. Ray really knows his stuff and his expertise and skills made for a seamless day, we opted for a few posed shots but Ray made sure we got to spend time with our guests whilst he worked away getting those candid shots which really made our day so special. Ray did hybrid coverage, we just got the gallery back and honestly we were both speechless.

We knew the pictures would be good but they really were like something out of a magazine. How he had time to also capture the day via video i’ll never know! The video and photos capture the day in the most beautiful way and he’s given us memories to cherish forever.

Everyone at the wedding commented on how special Ray was and how he felt like part of the family! There wasn’t a person he didn’t make smile, he’s a true legend!!

Ray made the entire process seamless and personable from start to finish. He made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day, as we aren’t that comfortable in front of a camera. His style of photography was so perfect for us those initial nervous we had vanished. He has an incredible eye for detail.

The highlight video he made for us was a masterpiece in our eyes, it really made us feel like we relived the entire day again which was so special to us. Every single guest we had was blown away. Ray photographed our wedding in June with additional videography, and we’re so delighted with the results. Ray himself was so easy to communicate and work with – he made us feel so at ease on the day and his presence never felt intrusive. He had us in stitches for most of the day, which helped us all feel so relaxed and helped him capture some amazing shots. There are moments of the day he captured which I will treasure forever, particularly on film for our highlights video. Ray’s an absolute talent and we would highly recommend him for your wedding.

The enquiry process
Ray is very fast to reply to enquires on available dates and prices. The booking was simple and easy and we were only required to pay a deposit to secure our date, with email confirmations that followed.

The pre-wedding communication
When we secured our date Ray stayed in regular contract with us, through messages as well as setting up 2 video calls to virtually meet before the day + another to run through how we wanted the day to go. Ray made it very much our choice on when we want photos/videos taken but he was always there to give his professional advice when we wanted it.

Rays personality came through strongly on the video calls, he’s is very confident and has a great sense of humour, making it very easy to talk to him. We received email notifications for invoices and any outstanding balances, allowing us to pay online via a secure link.

The big day
On our wedding day Ray arrived 1 hour early to set up and made sure he talked to each of us before the ceremony to run through what he will be doing and when throughout.

All of our guests mentioned how much they loved our photographer and we have to agree, he got along with everyone so well. His witty comments made everyone laugh and made for even better photo opportunities. Our doggie was with us throughout the whole of day. Our doggie doesn’t listen to anyone but Ray was still able to capture some of the most beautiful photos of her.

We weren’t the most confident in front of the camera but Ray made us feel super comfortable and the photos turned out amazing. It felt like we had known him forever. Ray has good relationships with venue staff/management and even managed to get locked gate codes to allow for photographs in the venues pond garden.

Post-Wedding
Ray was Unbelievably fast getting our wedding gallery and video to us. We were expecting 6-8weeks turn around but received everything in 3 days … yes you read that correctly, 3 days. He has won many awards but this has to be worthy of another surely, world record perhaps ?

The photos even captured small details we would never have thought to have. Photos he posted to his instagram has both of us added as collaborators and even allowed us to add tags for our wedding vendors. Ray also gave us the option to have our VIP wedding day guests tagged in any social media posts so they were able to view them easier.

The photos/video
We found Ray through Instagram and LOVED his photography style, the photos are very natural and were exactly what we were looking for. Our wedding video was more beautiful than we could have imagined, capturing our day perfectly. It was like a film and looked super professional. We cannot thank Ray enough, we are very happy with the whole experience and wouldn’t have changed anything.

Simply put – Ray is fantastic. His approach was second to none throughout the build up and during the day, resulting in some amazing images that friends and family adore. He went down an absolute storm with the wedding guests too – they couldn’t believe he was there from the very early morning to very nearly being the last man on the dancefloor! 100% recommend – if you want great images from your special day – get Ray booked!

Ray is the most incredible photographer. From day one of meeting him, he gave us so much time and attention and made us feel so comfortable in his presence.
