The ANRÁN Story: A Stunning Country Retreat in Devon

Nestled in the picturesque South West of Devon, ANRÁN is a heavenly country retreat, perfect for couples looking for a unique and luxurious wedding experience. With majestic and grade 2-listed buildings dating back to the 1700s, and the adjacent dairy farm known locally as Tidwell, the rolling hills and breathtaking countryside views will leave you in awe. Once an abandoned space, ANRÁN has now been lovingly restored to create unforgettable memories for all who visit.

In April 2013, ANRÁN’s owners acquired the farm from England’s church commission and began a significant restoration project to turn it into a private residence. The goal was to craft a luxurious home with accommodation options, photography, and design studios on-site, making ANRÁN the perfect location for weddings, events, and private stays.

Whether it’s a marquee by the lake, cocktails inside The Glass House, or dinner under The Old Oak Tree, ANRÁN has it all. For more relaxed celebrations, couples can book both the Manor and Barns for private use, where options like Hog Roasts and Barbeques add to the laid-back yet luxurious feel.

About ANRÁN Manor

The Manor at ANRÁN offers a relaxed yet opulent setting for your wedding, with a unique blend of “casual chic” and “almost quirky” vibes. This beautifully renovated 1840s country home, surrounded by lush acres of countryside, includes its own lake, stream, and pool.

The grade 2-listed Manor sleeps 16 adults across 8 bedrooms and bathrooms, providing the perfect spot for a restful and luxurious getaway. Available for full-house rental or bed and breakfast reservations, it’s an ideal space for pre-wedding celebrations and guest accommodation.

About ANRÁN Barn

Dating back to the late 1700s, ANRÁN Barns have been lovingly restored to retain their rustic charm while offering modern luxury. Originally part of an old dairy farm, the barns form a charming courtyard that greets guests upon entry through large wooden gates. Inside, the hand-sawn timber, rafters, and purlins maintain the timeless feel of the space. Each suite and cottage is designed to cater to guests’ every need, offering a range of accommodations from studio rooms to four-bedroom homes.

With beautifully appointed bedrooms and contemporary-designed bathrooms, your guests will experience a Devon retreat like no other. The self-contained suites and cottages, complete with kitchens, provide a luxurious yet comfortable space for everyone to enjoy.
