When you book a one day hire at Iscoyd Park, your party gains exclusive access from noon until 10am the following morning. If an extra day is desired for more time to set up decorations or organize activities for your guests, then opt in for a two-day package with mid-day check-in on the preceding wedding date. And if you choose three days of rental? Well, that allows all guests to carry on celebrating and enjoy lunch right after the big event!

From the time you book with me to the final delivery of your images, I am there for you and your story. Throughout the wedding day, I document beautiful moments in a very natural and unposed manner whilst adding creativity to deliver images that are unique to you and your story.
I love the feeling of leaving a wedding and feeling part of the family – there’s nothing better. It’s been said numerous times “it was like having a friend capture our day” – that’s the way it should be.
You will find me right in the action, at close quarters, you won’t see me skirting the wall with a long lens. I believe in documenting your story from within. I can usually be found laughing with your guests, often I’m the one making people laugh. Being close really helps your friends and family feel comfortable with me and allows me to document moments that I wouldn’t otherwise capture if they were uneasy.

Hidden away in the serene and pristine countryside near the estate, this church overlooks a gently-flowing brook. The enchanting beauty of its exterior is reflected inside with gorgeous stained glass windows, family memorials, and intricately carved inscriptions. It also features an elevated seating area that can accommodate up to 150 people – providing a perfect atmosphere for weddings or other special occasions!

A captivating, picturesque space that exudes character and history. Old family portraits as well as timeless classical paintings adorned the walls, while chandeliers, a marble fireplace and glossy wooden floors imbue this room with an enchanting romantic elegance characteristic of traditional country houses. Large Georgian windows showcase gorgeous views across the gardens and park from all angles in addition to flooding the space with light.

The Coach House offers an inviting, rustic atmosphere with exposed beams and whitewashed brick. Far from the main house, it is encircled by floor-to-ceiling windows that give you a stunning view of both home and garden. The magical Pigeon House, crafted by imaginative artisans in times gone by and now glorified with a magnificent vintage Italian chandelier and an antique mirror, will make for a breathtaking outdoor ceremony setting. Iscoyd have a team of highly skilled chefs, headed by Executive Chef Jason Hodnett who joined Iscoyd in June 2021. Jason was a contestant on Professional MasterChef and represented the central region on The Great British Menu. His passion for cooking is unparalleled; with his guidance, the Iscoyd kitchen staff has perfected an extraordinary menu that will take your dining experience to the next level.
Every January, Iscoyd proudly launch two seasonal menus – Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter- stretching from March to February of the following year. These dishes are as flavourful as they come; masterfully crafted with fresh ingredients sourced only from trusted suppliers.

William Hanmer purchased Iscoyd in 1737 and significantly extended the main house, while other components of the estate date as far back to the middle of the seventeenth century. Even earlier evidence shows that a residence stood on this site for centuries before then.
William Hanmer purchased Iscoyd from the mercer Thomas Deaves, who had acquired it through the Adams family – an illustrious group that established the renowned Adams’ Haberdashers School in Newport Shropshire. Subsequently, Hanmer married Elizabeth Jennens of Gopsall Leicestershire; their daughter Esther inherited Iscoyd and sold it to Congreve for £8,400 before she tied knots with Assheton Curzon (later Viscount Curzon) and shifted to Staffordshire.
In 1843, Philip Lake Godsal purchased Iscoyd Park from the Congreves for £12,500 – a princely sum at the time. He was the son of an eminent coach maker and had married Hon Grace Ann Best, daughter of Lord Wynford. Miraculously, despite several difficulties along the way, his family has remained in residence ever since!

CHOOSE THE RIGHT PHOTOGRAPHER
Right, let’s start by saying you’re not just buying ‘nice photos’ – we live in a world with so many nice instagram feeds, but it’s not just aesthetics. I’ve seen loads of photographers who have a large majority of their instagram feeds/website from content days, workshops etc. (no pressure, no time constraints, models, perfect setups)
A nice instagram grid or website doesn’t tell you if they can handle chaos, keep you from shitting your pants before you go down the aisle, read the room, move portraits later in the timeline as you booked a live singer for the reception and you actually want to listen to them. That stuff doesn’t live on pretty feeds – It lives in experience. (350+ weddings over 10 years, I got you covered)
The real risk isn’t just bad photos, it’s a bad fit. Feeling awkward, being dragged around, missing the good bits because someone was too busy staging ‘the perfect shot’. So here’s the meat and bones of it: don’t ask yourself ‘do we like their photos?’ – instead ask yourself ‘do we trust this person to show up on the day and smash it out the park’ (read my reviews).
Once you realise that, you stop scrolling for the prettiest grid and start looking for the person, the vibe, the energy you want to spend your entire day with, someone who will sing along to the fresh prince of bel air during bride prep, someone who will knock out some body popping on the dance floor before capturing the bridesmaid whacking out the perfect worm – and if that ends up being me – happy bloody days!!

I love leaving a wedding feeling like part of the family. Couples often say, “It felt like having a friend capture our day,” and that’s exactly how it should be. You’ll usually find me right in the action, laughing with guests and capturing moments from up close. I believe the best photos come from being fully immersed in the day, not hiding at the back with a long lens. When your friends and family feel comfortable with me, that’s when I can document the most genuine moments.
