So who the heck am I?
First off, how ya doing (how are you in northern parlance) – Thanks for stopping by, I’m Ray, father, husband and bringer of sausage treats for Daisy our cockapoo. God she loves those sausages. I’m based in the County Durham area but travel all over the country and internationally. I’ve been shooting weddings since 2015, and full time since 2018 – 10 years of experience, 350+ weddings all over the country, every weather condition going, 150+ awards – a hell of a ride. Love It! Love TV + Film, especially anything directed by Snyder, Spielberg or Christopher Nolan. Love musicals such as phantom of the opera, wicked, greatest showman and of course Disney. Nothing better than belting out some Les Misérables in a key only cats can hear. Massive fan of RuPaul, if you are too then “Shantay, you stay” – we can be friends haha. Reading this I sound camper than butlins, but that just means I bring the vibes, the party and the energy. - Right, this might sound a bit vain but my work is the dogs bollocks, have a look at my portfolio, the blog posts in the journal, go look about at others – everyone has to do their research, I get it – I’ll be here when you realise my work stands out – ha-ha.
- When it comes to pricing, I’m fair. Like really fair. If you find this quality of work for cheaper, go with them ha-ha.
- The photos and videos I create are awesome – BUT – you will see from the majority of reviews they primarily speak about ME. How I fit in on the day, bring the vibes, the laughter, the dance moves, the shit dad jokes, the filthy innuendo – I often say “I’m a friend at the wedding but with expensive gear” – that’s the vibe I provide. If your game for laughing till you piss yourself, doing the worm, shoulder carries around the dance floor, dancing in the rain and embracing the weather if it’s crap – we will get on.

As you can see from this page and hopefully the rest of my website/brochure, I’ve tried to convey ME – I see so many wedding photographers websites with the exact same spiel they copy and pasted from Chat GPT – half of which can’t even be arsed to put a picture of themselves up. It’s important you know who I am, we’re going to be together all day. I’m a fun, bubbly character who brings the vibes – honestly if you’re not willing to have fun on your wedding day book someone else, nothing worse than working all day with someone boring!
As you can see I’m honest as they come and talk pretty straight – If you want your wedding photos to be the dogs bollocks, your highlight film to be fun, modern and not stuffy and boring – get in touch if the budget works, jump on a zoom call and get the ball rolling.
